Pineapple Tidbits
This great workshop often starts with a fabric trade to ensure that each participant has a wide variety of fabric.  A quick lesson in determining the colour value of your scraps.   This quilt is made on a flannel foundation giving it an instant aged look.  Over dying the completed quilt adds to the aged look.

Stash Buster
Plough through  your scraps quickly piecing this quilt on a muslin foundation.  This quilt will look equally beautiful in the colour pallete of your choice or “stash”.  You do not even need to know how to sew a straight line. In this workshop you will be challenged to think outside the box, as I will present many ways to use the technique and encourage you with different ways  to modernize your old stash.

String Snowball

This amazing scrap quilt is easily pieced on a paper foundation, or made with specially designed templates. Once you start putting the units on your design wall you will find many design possibilities.  You can play with the values in your stash for a 3 D effect or just make a colourful version and modernize it with a carefully chosen background fabric or you can play with colour placement. The many design possibilities will be covered in the workshop.
