Behind in Blogging… again!

I am sending you another sneak preview of a few quilts that you will find hanging at Quilts at the Creek  this July.  If you have never been,  make this the year to visit this amazing outdoor show. Most visitors, even non quilters are so blown away that they come back the following year.

Gail; a Toronto quilt designer loves using big blocks and versions of big blocks in her quilt designs.  You can check out her website here to see what she has been up to.  You can also find her patterns on Craftsy.   She wanted this quilt to be quilted with straight lines.  My picture isn’t great so you will have to come to the show to get a better view.

Once again the  “I Doodle” app came in handy to decide what to quilt and how to change things up in the border during the quilting process.

Val, the mastermind behind Quilts at the Creek brought me this beautiful quilt. It is one of the red/white quilt entries for this years show.  If you don’t  know Val, but have been following my blog  you will realize that she always bends the rules.

I love being part of your quilt story.  A half an hour after Val picked up this quilt she sent me and email titled “I may have to wrestle this away from him”
