I hope that hockey season isn’t over yet as I wanted to share this hockey themed quilt with you before the final game. It was made as a gift for Catherine’s nephew…. a lucky young man.
We decided to quilt it with an edge to edge pantograph called bubbles that in an odd sort of way represent hockey pucks. I have used this panto to represent baseballs in the past, it is a very versatile pattern.
On the back Catherine cleverly sewed three hockey themed panels that look like a rink. I love it when my customers do interesting things on the back of their quilts.
